Training
Experience
Jasmine started out studying drama with Larry Hagman in South Central
Los Angeles at Studio Watts, in California. There she met and later studied
with Anna Halprin of San Francisco Dancers Workshop in California. She
became part of the core teaching staff and Director of Dancers Workshop
Third World Reach-Out Program. Jasmine led workshops around the Bay Area
using movement and real life issues to promote cultural and personal healing.
Jasmine also worked in The Catherine Branson School of Marin County with
gifted and troubled teenage girls who were confined to a locked facility
run by the Catholic Church.
Jasmine studied with
Richard Heckler at The Lomi School, became a certified Lomi practitioner
which included Lomi Bodywork and Gestalt Therapy.Jasmine
also taught movement for the Lomi School Residential Training Program.
Jasmine, with her
brother Xavier Nash, led African-American Dance Workshops for Esalen Institute
in the late seventies through 1982.
For five years she
then created and delivered NLP Movement Workshops with Anthony Robbins'
in his NLP Certification Programs. At this time she led groups of up to
900 participants in movement, deepening the principles of Neuro Linguistic
Programing through direct body experience.
